I think to help posters answer your questions you should specify are you going to there for undergrad or grad, and what you are thinking of majoring in.

Planning to study accounting or marketing as an undergraduate. May lean towards international business with a concentration in accounting or marketing.

My initial thoughts - Bentley is much bigger than Bryant and near Boston. Bentley runs buses every 30 minutes on the weekends right into Harvard Square which will give you quick metro access to the rest of Boston. Bryant is half the size of Bentley and is located in a rural part of RI. Bentley has one D1 sport - hockey and the rest of the programs are D2. Bryant is all NCAA D1. It all depends on what you are looking for…

Bryant is a 45 minute drive from Boston. Easy road trip. That “rural part of RI” is about 10 mins from downtown Providence, and lends itself to Bryant’s stunning campus. Unless you want an urban campus, Bryant’s location is not a negative.

I attended Bryant in the 80’s, so I can’t speak to its current students’ success. However I can tell you that among my group of friends, we are now:

VP of major airline
CEO of aircraft parts company
VP of Sales for aircraft company
VP of major office furniture company
VP of Tax for Fortune 500 company
General manager of a huge Hyatt hotel
VP of major investment house
Hugely successful private wealth manager
Principal of large insurance agency
Partner of tax law firm
Partner of (now) Big 4 accounting firm

The list goes on. Bryant graduates very successful business people. Just ask business icon Jack Welch, former head of GE, who famously said some of the best executives he has worked with come from Bryant.

OP:

Have you narrowed your search down to just those two choices? Have you already applied? Have you gone to visit them both??? Are you looking at any other schools?

My suggestion to you would be to plan a trip to visit both colleges. One day or two at one and another day or two at the other. Getting a feel for what you are looking for is something only YOU can do.

Both schools have many strengths, but it is entirely up to you to decide on where you’d like to go to school and live for the next four years.

We spent one FULL day at each college we looked at. S sat in on classes (arranged ahead of time), spent time talking to professors (also arranged ahead of time), sat in the dining halls, spent time talking to students passing by, looking at the library, dorm rooms, campus amenities, the book store, the fitness center, etc.,etc.,etc., campus tour, info session of course…came prepared with specific questions toward that school and their specific curriculum…touring the neighboring town too…

This forum is good only as a guide. You need to do the work yourself of physically visiting each school and coming up with your own decision as to where you want to go.

If this is the area you want, you should look at Babson as well.

IMHO if you study accounting go where the school has a very good CPA test result and where the cost is the lowest.
