So I want to get a breadth out of the way, but don't want it to interfere in my core classes (like it has done before). So I want to concurrently enroll in Berkeley city college to take the breadth class. I find that the general internet consensus is that it is allowed, but my question is are there any things I need to do to alert Cal that I'm gonna be concurrently enrolled, or can I just enroll in BCC and sign up for classes and alert Cal later when I want to transfer over the classes?

It depends on which college you are in.

If you are in the College of Letters of Science, see this [Concurrent Enrollment form](http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/fp/ConcurrentEnrollment.pdf).

If you are in the College of Engineering, see page 7 of the [College of Engineering Undergraduate Handbook 2010-11](http://coe.berkeley.edu/students/current-undergraduates/advising/Undergraduate%20Handbook%2010-11).

If you are in some other college, see the regulations for that college. If you are double majoring in different colleges, you will likely have to meet the regulations for both colleges. Check whether your major or proposed major also has its own regulations.

thank you, this is beyond helpful
