Berkeley Math Grad School

<p>Hello, I am a freshman at the University of Michigan and I was curious if people that have been admitted to Berkeley's applied math program or currently attend it could tell me what got you accepted (research, awards, grades, all of the above). Also I would like to know how does minority status affect admission decisions for grad school if at all? Thank you for your time.</p>
