I just got accepted into Berkeley for my MSEE (EECS or however they refer to it) and was invited to visit come March. They said more information would come from a future email with details. Does anyone know if Berkeley normally pays for these trips if we do? Georgia Tech flew me out and paid for everything but I’m not familiar with Berkeley standards. If I have to pay myself I would like to buy my flight soon to get a good price on airfare so if anyone is familiar with their process let me know please! Thanks!

Cal EECS is one of the best in the country.
They’re paying for everything if anyone else in the future is interested. I’m still waiting to hear from Stanford ECE/EECS. In the event I go to both visit days they mentioned that the costs would be split between both universities (it sounds like they coordinate the trips together). Very excited to have been admitted into Berkeley! Once I hear from Stanford and my other 3 application schools I’m going to have a tough decision April 15… I can already tell!
