Berkeley Update Question

When filling my grades in, what should I put if my school doesn't give +'s or -'s?? They want you to total how many A+'s, A's, A-'s, B+'s, etc you have. My community college never gives out +'s or -'s, it just gives A,B,C,D, or F. Should I just put +'s on all my grades?

Basically, I don't want them to think that my school had +'s, and I just never got them. How will berkeley know that my school just didn't offer them?

Maybe I should just put all +'s?? A+,B+?

No. Put only the EXACT grades that you got. You must enter the grades as they appear on your transcript. Most community colleges don’t give + or - grades.

ok cool sounds good thanks.

One more question - If I took polisci at my community college, got a C, then took it again at another community college and got an A, which grade will they look at?

they will look at both, but its the first one that counts, cuz they only let u replace the grade if u previously got a D/F

If they are both transferable, both will be included in your overall GPA calculation
