@Lef101 I doubt that they check each other’s admissions. That probably has nothing to do with it

i hate my life sooooooooooooo much right nowww

I guess it is over now…

@Souloi WHAT? WHY? wahts over???

oh like the daily wave?

@FUnderwood, @swiftswimmer, @gabla6, @jathak, mscott2757 Did any of you SIR to a UC school before being accepted off the waitlist? And congrats by the way…!

I called the office of undergraduate admissions. They said that if all positions are filled, a general email will be sent to the remaining few who are on the wait list.

@Endersgame96 Does that mean they’ve finished releasing the final round of wait lists unless many choose to decline?

No, I believe that it means that they have not finished. They are probably making decisions on an individual basis. I am not very concerned.

Let’s hope you’re right! Good luck!

Lets pray that you’re right damm im just dying here had a terrible time the whole entire day

Did you guys get the berkeley email?

Just got an email saying they will be releasing decisions by June 1. I’m out of state

got the email too i guess it didnt mean that our decisions are out yet then? well duh. we;ve been hearing that ppl were getting off waitlist way to give us false hope

^ Some decisions ARE out. “By June 1st” means before that day, not during. They’re being posted in batches.

For those who were admitted from the waitlist, what is the SIR deadline?

For those still on the waitlist, it would not be surprising if the next batch of waitlist admissions, if there is any, is made shortly after the SIR deadline for the current batch of waitlist admissions, after knowing whether the current batch of waitlist admissions results in the desired level of enrollment.

@ucbalumnus May 14th

I hope not.

Anyone heard anything else today?

I heard yesterday. Got in for bioengineering, pretty stoked!
