Best accounting schools that are public univiersities??

I am looking for accounting schools that are large public universities. I have a 3.95w and a 30 superscore. Which ones could I get into and recieve scholarships?

Most public universities don’t have financial aid for out of state students.

Since money appears to be an issue (as you’re asking about scholarships) you should focus on your state flagship university, and possibly private schools where you might qualify for financial/merit aid.

I wouldn’t say money is an issue. Just the less the better. What are your personal favorites for accounting schools?

What

UIUC is strong, I’ve heard.

The University of Northern Iowa has a stellar accounting program. Though while a public university, they might not be what you would consider “large”. They do have various scholarships that out of state students can qualify for.

UF
UT
UNC
Penn State
IU
UMASS - Amherst

Most state flagships are pretty good and are well recruited (at least regionally)

Thank you everyone!!!

Why don’t you just go to your state flagship? Accounting isn’t one of those majors you really should pay big $$ or out of state tuition for.
