I am very excited to go to college next year, but I am not sure which college to attend. I would like to study Pre-Law or International Studies with the hopes to have a career in International Law someday. What schools would you suggest be best for either of these degrees? My family will have 3 kids in college while I am in college to I am trying to help keep the costs down, so what are the best colleges for these degrees that is under 30k a year?
Right now I am considering Miami of Ohio and their program, for me it will be around 20k a year which I think is a great deal especially because to my knowledge their program is great! If you have any opinions about Miami please let me know!

Thanks so much for the help!

With 3 kids in college, unless your family is pretty wealthy, you should get some aid if you have good stats. Have you figured out your EFC?

Well unfortunately, because of what my parents earn I will not be able to receive a lot of aid, I am hoping to keep college loans down for my major and spend a bit more in a law program.

There is no such thing as a pre-law program. Simply major in whatever interests you, get good grades, and work on your writing and ability to think logically.

to be honest, go to whatever school you want. just make sure to get as close to a 4.0 as you can. also you will need to get a minimum of 165 on the LSAT (if you can hit 170 you’re golden) to go to a top law school.

Ditto. There is really no such thing as a Pre-law major. Some colleges make a set of mostly government/history and/or sociology courses and call it a “Pre-Law Major.” There’s no need for it and it will give you little or no advantage career-wise should you not ultimately attend law school, or even if you do attend law school.
