Best banking/debit card plan

<p>This question is for students who are actually in college, or anyone who knows a lot about banking. Which bank has the best debit card (check card) for college students? Should I get a credit card or debit card? I was thinking debit card. Any suggestions for what to do in this matter will be helpful. Thank you.</p>

<p>i don't know much about this subject, but a debit card would be a good start, in my opinion. and then, after a while, try for a credit card.</p>
