Best book for SAT2 bio

say if i used Kaplan's bio for sat2 and the cliffnotes ap bio. would i be set?

Also while im on the subject of sat2's
a awesome math 2 book?
i wanna pwn that math 2 stuff.

Well I cannot speak for Kaplan or Clliffnotes, but for me, I used Arco for AP Bio and that was great. For the SAT II, I used the Barrons SAT II book and that got me a 790 :), but from what I have read, Princeton Review's Bio book has apparently the best model tests. For math II, I used the Barrons book and got an 800

barrons...it works for most pple

is the Kaplan one any good?

I found the Kaplan one to be really dense and by the time you get to the practice questions at the end of each chapter you've just poured through a bio textbook.

Princeton review has practice quizzes every couple pages so it makes it much easier to follow and remember the info. That said, PR is weak in a couple areas (the different phylums, features of organisms in those phylums, etc. so using another book to supplement those areas would be ideal)

sparknotes was excellent. helped me get a 770, although i have to admit AP Bio was a bigger help...

Just stick with Cliffs AP.

Buy the 5 practice AP exams from Cliffs as well.

Even though im using the Cliffs ap for the subject? (@7)

Yeah, if you want an 800.

I used PR, only got a 690. I wouldn't recommend it because there was info on the SAT II which wasn't covered in PR.

thanks everyone.

So im reading all these posts and geting some opinions from friends
I should just stick to PR for math2 and bio for time sake?
since cliffs is a lot of information to proces

I loved Princeton Review's tests when I was preparing for the SAT Bio (along with Sparknotes's tests). I took it after Bio Honors, though, so pretty much all my preparations came from those practice tests. They were a bit harder in either material or grading, so my consistent scores on the practice (700/710) were lower than what I actually got (750).
