What is the best way or the best book for increasing my vocabulary, (mainly as a PSAT/SAT prep) Thanks.

memorizing tons of words from 1000 common SAT words

Barron's list

and any other sources you could get

Read more. I'm sure your local library has a classics section. Check out two a week, write down the words you don't know, and look them up. Memorization has nothing to do with the SATS, because they often use the words in uncommon ways.

the flip-o-matics are good

What is the flip-o-matics?

Any tips for learning vocabs that you feel useful? Can we have any methods to study 40-50 words a day?

i used the barrons 3,500 word list

it might seem overwhelming at first, but most of the words you probably know already

the ones i didnt know, i wrote the word and definition in a small pocket spiral notebook and carried it EVERYWHERE with me (bus stop, lunch break, etc.) and it really helped

i finished the word list in a month but since u have the summer i recommend you start now and its worth it.. the words really helped me :)

Where can I find the barron's 3500 words list? I looked on amazon but could not find it.
