Hello Carlosha,

UF Business School for undergrad studies only admits transfers from Florida Colleges. The transfer students must possess an AA degree, a 3.5 prereq gpa, and a 3.0 overall gpa.

View this web site [Prospective Students - School of Business](http://warrington.ufl.edu/sb/admissions/cctransfers.asp)

kscool,

That’s what I saw on the site. They accept ALL student who met those requirements? (FL AA degree, 3.0 overall, and 3.5 preprof?

Unfortunately, they don’t select all of the students that meet the requirements.

jerome,

It’s been something that I’ve been unsure about. I’ve asked around here and emailed the transfer coordinator and she said they accept all students that meet the minimum requirements.

Basically every school in the world does that that doesn’t operate on a competitive nature. Maybe thats how she misunderstood me.

I even called and explained that “No matter what if I have a 3.0 overall GPA and 3.5 preprof GPA I get in” and then I said for example I get a 3.2 overal and a 3.5 preprof I’m guaranteed admission. They seemed to argue on this. What’s your take on it?

Hello Neelyt,

According to this quote pulled from the site, it seem that they select “all” and that it is “guaranteed” admission…
“ALL transfer applicants who meet the following admission requirements will be admitted to the School of Business” -UF Business

If a student met those requirements and still was denied; I guess it would be if the recalculated gpa didn’t meet the par, they had too many prereqs in progress instead of completed, or perhaps the student made failing grades first/second time taking the prereq courses. Other than those, I’m not sure why they would deny a student who successfully completed what they require from a transfer. Continue to ask UF Business School Officials for clarity.
