<p>to the second question- no, if you want a phone you must being a cell phone or on move in day request that a phone line be set up.</p>

<p>I have ATT-Cingular. It works fine, even in my old frat house. I have full bars or almost full bars just about anywhere in Berzerkeley.</p>
<p>miqdad, in the US cell phones are cheap, and often come free with a package, so it's probably not worth keeping your old phone.</p>
