best chemistry universities

I would like to study chemistry, biochemistry and/or molecular biology. I am interested especially in a research career. What are the best universities for these courses in your opinion?

UC Berkeley.
It has excellent research opportunities. I heard many famous chemists from UC Berkeley, such as Mark Lewis. And also some elements were found by UC Berkeley students/profs such as Berkelium, Californium, etc..

UC Berkeley also relatively cheaper too. and u know california..it has the best weather! it's many top companies also there like genetech, Amgen, chevron, and tons of IT companies. California also has world-class entertainment such Universal Studio in Hollywood, Venice beach, Disney lands, etc....

so I think UC Berkeley is the best.
Stanford and MIT is the second and third choices.

I think Harvard has one of the best chemistry program in the country. With harvard's name you can't go wrong in academia or industry. Furthermore, suppose you want to switch career to finance and consulting (where the money is) "harvard" brand name should make the first interview door open easily.

Berkeley, Harvard, Penn, MIT, and Stanford are the top.

Caltech would be a very good choice - especially if you want to do research.

Only if you're from California. And even then, only if you're middle-class and up.

As a case in point, I see that the OP is from Romania. From what I remember, Berkeley doesn't offer full financial aid to international undergrads. But other schools like Harvard do.
