<p>FISKE guide is definitely one you should read through.
also, Insider's guide to colleges, for an inside view to some colleges.. I think it's written by students? But for sure, College ******* is written by students.</p>
<p>Also some novels you should read are:
Colleges that change Lives & Beyond the Ivy Leagues... both by Loren Pope</p>
<p>It's really interesting, and gives you hope if you're not the typical ivy league applicant.</p>

<p>A is for Admissions by Michelle Hernandez, and Acing the College Application by her as well.</p>
<p>The former leans heavily towards Ivy League or similar caliber schools, though. But the latter will be helpful to anyone.</p>
<p>I also highly recommend Fiske's Guide as well as Insider's Guide.</p>
