Best College Course To Prepare For SAT Math 2

Hi all,

I’m a sophomore who plans to apply to universities that require an SAT Math Subject Test. During junior year, I will have the opportunity to take a class at the local community college. I see this as an opportunity to take out two birds with one stone. Take a college class and prepare for the SAT Math 2 Subject Test through that coursework. So, I’m wondering which college math class would best act as test prep / cover a majority of the content on the Math 2 test?

Thank you so much and I look forward to your response.

There’s no need to take a college course to do well on the Math 2 subject test. Even high school precalculus is excessive, imo; trigonometry is the ‘highest’ level math you need. I didn’t study at all for the test and took it when I was enrolled in Cal A, and received an 800. If you’re still worried I think you should look at the college board website to see what topics the test covers.
