best college for invest-bank?

Which is the best college to go to for investment banking. Which college would give me the best chance of working for Goldman?

MIT

Here is the data that indicates how many undergraduates recruited by I-Banks. All the top I-Banks recruits at MIT.

http://web.mit.edu/career/www/infostats/graduation10.pdf

ParentOfIvyHope, according to your link, not many MIT students take jobs with IBanks. I am not sure whether that is due to a lack of interest on the part of the students or due to a lack of recruitment activity on the part of the IBanks.

Wharton is the obvious choice. Harvard is also excellent. Columbia and Princeton are also very good. Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Michigan (Ross only), Penn (other than Wharton) and Stanford are all up there too.

IBanks recruit at many top universities mind you, such as Brown, Chicago, Georgetown, MIT, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Yale etc…

Known examples from my friends:
Harvard, NYU, Emory, U Illinois, U Madison, MIT.

Ewwww…I-banking. I kid.

Goldman recruits actively at Tufts for Investment Banking (for their New York offices). That is, they pay to come to campus and hold interviews for Investment Banking.

HYP, Duke, Stanford, Wharton.
