What are the best CSUs and UCs for civil engineering?

I have:
Cal Poly SLO (already applied for architectural engineering)
San Francisco State University
CSU Long Beach
San Diego State University

UCSD
UCI
UCD
UCB
based on just their location. Are these colleges good in CE? Are any bad in CE? Any first hand experiences?
Any help is appreciated

Any ABET accredited civil engineering degree program that prepares you well for the Professional Engineer licensing tests is fine. However, recruiting by out-of-area employers is likely to be better at better known schools like SLO and Berkeley, and some (UCs and other research-oriented schools probably) may offer more research opportunities if you want to do that as preparation for going to a PhD program.

Civil engineering can be found at the following in California (some are private):

California Baptist University
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
California State University, Chico
California State University, Fresno
California State University, Fullerton
California State University, Long Beach
California State University, Los Angeles
California State University, Northridge
California State University, Sacramento
Loyola Marymount University
San Diego State University
San Francisco State University
San Jose State University
Santa Clara University
Stanford University
University of California, Berkeley
University of California, Davis
University of California, Irvine
University of California, Los Angeles
University of Southern California
University of the Pacific

(Note: UCSD is not in the above list from ABET.)

Architectural engineering can be found at:

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo

Structural engineering is not a separate ABET accreditation category. So you may want to check what category of ABET accreditation a structural engineering degree program has. (Note: UCSD has a structural engineering degree program accredited under general engineering criteria only.)

Thank you very much. I feel a lot more confident in my college choices.
And the ABET list is very helpful. I’m going to look into that more.
Thank you both
