It would be so helpful if you could give me a list of 5 or 10 colleges that excel in sports management

Co-workers son goes to Univ of Central Florida, in sports, but with a coaching concentration. Seems to like the program.

Just go to school for business or marketing, then when it’s time to look for internships try and find a pro/minor league.

Think about it, what if you don’t break into sports? You will be stuck with a very narrow major that won’t open any real doors for you.

could you major in sports management and then major in business or vice versa?
which would be better?

You mean a double major?

I don’t see why not.

Personally, I wouldn’t even bother with sports management. There are lots of better majors out there.

Just about any practical major combined with a good internship would make you marketable. Most people start off in season ticket sales or their marketing departments.
