Ok. I recommend starting with the desired end point and working backwards. You want a 4-year degree in computer science at a school on the East coast and in a large city. Start with identifying the universities that you would be interested in and researching their transfer requirements and any transfer agreements that they have with the community colleges. Transfers tend to be much smoother if there is an official transfer arrangement between the schools.
My daughter just transferred from a community college to a university in computer science but we aren’t in your target area of the country.
