best comp sci colleges with generous aid

Hi, my son wants to major in computer science, probably with emphasis on programming. His SAT scores are Math-700, Verbal-600, Writing-680. He will graduate next year from a residential high school for top students from across the state and he will retain his class rank from his home high school before he left, which was 1 out of around 170. His GPA is 5.something. We are looking for the best program/school that will offer a lot of scholarship money. We have two other boys who will be going to college right behind him and our family gross income is under $100,000 with zero college savings. He does not qualify for any special circumstances like minority or first generation college. A free ride would be amazing, but we also don't want him to waste his time going to a school that isn't going to give him the education he needs or that doesn't have enough of a repuation for him to be able to get a really good job when he graduates.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

By any chance does your son attend Illinois Math and Science Academy? If so then you might need to look outside of Illinois for an affordable safety as the state generally gives poor financial aid. If you’re not residents of Illinois, what’s your home state?

You might want to consider Iowa State’s Computer science program, but it might be too expensive https://www.admissions.iastate.edu/award_calc/freshman.php

Florida A&M would give him a great deal of money [Scholarships - Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University 2013](Page Not Found)

He attends the SC Governors School for Science & Math. His gpa is good, he just doesn’t score as high on standardized tests as most of his academic peers.
