A friend of mine attends Cal Poly Pomona and swears by it. Does anyone know how the other cal states line up for chemical engineering? I would automatically assume SLO's the best, but they don't offer chemical.

I would also be interested in knowing how the UC’s compare. I know Berkeley is number one, and UCSB is somewhere in the 20s (nationally). Does Pomona or CSULB compare with UCSB? If I got into UCSB, would it be an obvious choice over Pomona?

You should post your question in the Cal Poly Pomona section. I’ve heard good things about it, but someone else may know better.

Well, there are only three CSUs with chemical engineering:

Pomona
San Jose
Long Beach
