School apartments: No forced meal points, each apartment has its own bathroom, cheaper than normal dorms (partly because of meal points), Martinez has singles, apartments are reserved for upper div/continuing students. Comes with a little kitchen and stuff. Considered off-campus for aid I think, which could be a problem for some. (Also, if you do want a meal plan, it’s cheaper to be in apartments and get a non-resident plan than it is to be in the dorms with the forced plan.)

Suites/mini-suites: Each suite gets its own bathroom, rooms are pretty big (unit 1 minisuite, dunno about others). You’ll be forced to have meal points and will probably be surrounded by freshmen. Can be sorta expensive.

Normal dorms: Cheaper than suites/mini-suites… that’s probably the only “good” think about them. Comes with meal points and public bathrooms.

In terms of locations and stuff, I think you can figure those out by yourself…

Unit 2 - Wada apartments

I live here now, pretty highly recommended

I don’t know all the deets but I remember dorming is much more expensive than living in an apartment. Plenty of variables right there, but make sure to put the work in to see whats better. Main thing about dorming for me was to meet other transfers and others my year, but I was housed in unit 1 where everyone were freshmen. Nothing against freshmen but it is just not the same.
