Can anyone tell me about Fluor?

Flour tower is sort've like Parkside in that it is a suite style setting. The building is sort've old and the floors are cold tile in your suite's common area.

Only two people live in each of the rooms in Marks Hall, except the RA's room and the one room across from his.

uyulove: Nobody shares a room with three people. Some rooms used to be triples, but they are now doubles, which just means that the two residents get a little more space.

You can live in Marks or Trojan Hall without being on scholarship, and if you like being around smart people, you'll probably fit in fine.

I just saw the pictures and i saw it... I'm glad there are no triples though. I would die...

Oh dang it, i thought only scholarship people could live in those halls... i would have looked into it more otherwise.

haha me too.. I wish I had known it.

we still have that one time when they give us reassignment, right? we still might have a chance!

I kind of wanted parkside Art and architecture floor but supplement is too much work especially after all the college applications rejections etc. It would suck to get rejected again just for a housing application. Plus new/north sounded more interesting.

"Cool Asian girl? :p"

Yes! Cool Asian girl :) C'mon, admit it. I'm cool.

Anyway, I put Birnkrant for my first choice, but now I want to change it...think they'll let me? I sent my application and deposit a month or so ago...

Call them. But I have to warn you, I clled housing a few weeks ago w/ a question, and the guy barely spoke english...

lol. I put birkrat as my 5th choice and really wish I had put it as my 3rd. My top two were North w/ sink and North w/out sink.

Hmm. Does anyone have the URL for the page with pictures/descriptions of each residential hall?

At explore USC they told us that we could change our housing requests after we had sent them in, and we wouldnt lose our place in line. Just email housing@usc.edu and tell them your new preferences. I put Trojan and Marks as my new top choices after I visited. I liked the coffee shop in Trojan...

Misoobishi: http://housing.usc.edu

Ooh okay thank you :)

Gah! Why are you switching? :(

Ground Zero? It's an interesting place. I would go there more often if they took dining dollars (which come with the meal plan)

goto housing.usc.edu. It has a awesome picture interactive thing.

So at this point in time, is it pretty unrealistic to expect to get into Birnkrant, Parksides, Pardee, or New?

No, not at all. Send it in now and you should be able to get one of them. After all, you do have until April 30th, right?

Haha, I should know that.

Ground Zero has really great shakes with interesting names. Go check it out at least once if you don't live in Marks/Trojan, or even if you do.

Anyone know more about the special interest program at Birnkrant Residential College?
