Hey, I'm going to be transferring in Spring '10 and I'm wondering where most of the transfers stay and what are the most favorable dorms on campus?

Please do a forum search on the topic. It has been discussed extensively.

The one with feral dogs

i forget…are transfers still going to be clustered randomly around campus? or are they having a transfer center again?

what about the asian space? is it still going to be in that ex-frat house on south ave?

meestasi, what a skeev

Asian space? What is that?

lol i wouldnt mind being clustered, but i really would like to be in balch. unfortunately i dont think thats possible :[

BrandNew70x7- r u absolutely sure u wanna live in Balch?

well when i walked through it, i was just taken by how beautiful i thought it was. however, lol if there’s something i should know, please inform me… hah plus i dont think they house junior transfers anyway?

Yea Balch is strictly a freshman dorm. I agree the rooms are pretty awesome, but the girls there can get really evil and some are antisocial. I think its harder to get a good first year dorm experience by living in Balch.

oy vey well thank you :] im a transfer so since its strictly freshman, it wouldn’t happen anyway. and evil girls? never heard of such a thing ;]

There is a female dorm for upperclassmen as well. If I’m not mistaken, it’s part of the Flora Rose House. That’s what I HEARD though. Transfer students are usually put either in College town housing or West Campus. Some of them might end up in the North since they might run out of space. As long as you applied early for the housing, you should be fine.

Lyon Hall on West Campus it the all women upper class dormitory. It’s technically part of Rose House, but it is not in the house proper and is actually a Gothic. Some people really despise the Gothics, but I’ve never been in one.
