Baylor U

which school is best for me as an international student to get jobs in the states...or elsewhere? likely elsewhere...like korea?

which school has a good reputation?

Can you give us (tuition+ R&B) - (grants+scholarships) = ?
What’s your parents’ budget?

Are you engineering? If so, UIUC, for sure.

If you want a job in Korea, you need to ask employers in Korea which of these they prefer.

If want to know about the likelihood of finding a job after graduation in the US, contact the department you would study in, and the career center at each university, and ask where international students with your expected major find work for their OPT (visa extension) time. After your OPT expires, if you haven’t found an employer here who will go through the expense and trouble to get you an H1B visa (work visa) you will have to leave. It is almost impossible for international graduates to get a permanent job here with only an undergrad degree. Some do, but most don’t. Plan now to go home.

Canada is much more flexible about giving visas to graduates of their universities. If your goal is to not go home after your education, study in Canada.

An alternative, beside Canada, is going to grad school.

im looking towards business, social services, and maybe science
