@Dk-blue_Falcon: the one in carmichael?

Lol, ok. I can deal with sucking at sports. I agree with that. The teams at EC generally blow in everything except track and cross country. Are you going to be a freshman this fall, anthony?

@millemontag:I can only speak to the high school I went to (El Camino in Oceanside). I felt like it was a tolerant place. You can find your niche. There's plenty of diversity with sizable black, latino, and asian/pacific islander students. The same probably applies to many of the high schools in north county.

@astrina: actually, the one in san mateo...there's one in carmichael, too?...heck, i don't even know where carmichael is!

yep..fall of '08 for me

torrey pines is really good, if you are okay with a really large campus
Canyon crest academy is in that same area but smaller and just if not better.

Canyon Crest Academy is the best school in San Diego for 3 years in a row. GO RAVENS!

I don’t live in San Diego but I’m friends with a guy who came from San Diego.

He used to go to the Bishops school that was mentioned earlier in the thread and said it was a quality school.

I recommend to visit the site below to learn about the different SD communities and their school.

Westview (PUSD), Torrey Pines (San Dieguito), Carmel Crest Academy (San Dieguito), and possibly La Jolla High School are the most competitive non-private high schools in San Diego County.
