Best housing for a Junior Transfer.

I am a Junior who is coming to Washington University as transfer this spring and I was wondering what the best housing on campus was. I am doing Finance at the Olin business school and I was looking for housing that is not only great for meeting people but also is close to things like the gym, dining hall, etc. I would appreciate any opinions that you may have.

danforth is the best. (i hear it's for upperclassmen.)
hands down.
not that i've ever been to the other dorms, but it is sooo nice in terms of how it's furnished. however, i have no idea about the social atmosphere because i was there over the summer. basically, all the dorms are like, together in one area, with a dining hall and a gym right next to it. danforth has a basketball court right in front of it, and some hammocks, etc. Just nice. I'm thinking you can't really go wrong with housing at Wustl. It's just so nice. :)

Danforth is a freshmen-only dorm. The original poster obviously has housing already however, as the semester has started already.

My friend is an Olin int'l business major and she is in K1 (I don't know the formal name) but I visited there and it is REAL nice. The people there are VERY social and I could feel the vibrant college atmosphere.

k1= koenig, 1st floor... a freshman dorm... is that the one they just rebuilt? or is it still an old dorm?

I hear the Transfer House is nice! it seems like a good way to have the freshman floor that you will be missing!

Koenig is the new Koenig - If you have a chance, check out the 4th floor triples; They're huge. The new Ligget is being built right now, and will be ready for Fall 06.
