I took a mock SAT at my school and received a 570 on math portion of the exam. I am quite disappointed with that score, and would like to know the best way to boost that score (hopefully by around 100 points).

Are calculator programs like the "SAT-OS" really useful? They seem kind of like cheating anyway, even though they technically aren't. Or are the more traditional methods (books, practice tests, etc.) more beneficial?

You should be doing the practice tests in the CB Blue Book and go over every Math questions you got wrong. Once you are familar with them, you can expect the same or similar ones to show up again on the actual test. Thefore, you may probably see a 100-200 point increase in your math score months from now.

Is this book, as long as I read it maybe at a constant pace over the summer, as far as you know of course, likely increase my score from 570 to > 650?

yes, the blue book will help increase your score.
however, it is recommended that you mostly focus on its practice tests (that’s what most people seem to buy it for).

I have done just 3-4 math sections in the book, reviewed my incorrect answers, and I improved from a 540 to a 630.
