Not sure what would be condsidered the best, but San Jose State has a highly-respected program - you get a Bachelor of Science. You want to look for FIDER accreditation.

Thanks hanaviolet. But San Jose is little bit far from my house. Do you any other school recommend that is near Bay area. Thankyou

Let’s see, Bay Area. UC Berkeley Extension is good - you come out with a three-year professional certificate (not a Bachelors though). Last I was aware of it, San Francisco State’s program was pretty bare bones - not sure where it’s at now. If you can get yourself into UC Berkeley, there are architecture and environmental design programs - these might give you more choices career-wise. Oh, and FIDM or Academy of Art programs in SF might be pretty good - I’m not extremely familiar with them, but I do perceive a generally good reputation for them. I can’t think of any others at the moment.

ic. Thankyou. But who qualify to study the UC Berkeley Extenesion Interior design program? Can I get money from fafsa if I study this program?

pakaer, very good point - since it is not a Bachelor program, I’m pretty sure you cannot get financial aid. Maybe the Acad of Art or FIDM would be better that way.

FIDM is very expensive and doesn’t give good aid. Virtually all the privates will be too expensive and won’t give good aid.

FAFSA doesn’t “give” money. It’s just an application to see if you qualify for federal aid…which is not much money. If you’re family is very low income and you qualify for full Pell, that just means 5550 in a federal grant and student loans.

You’re best bet is to look at CSUs that you can commute to that have a good ID program.

Thankyou for the answers! I appreciate it.

my income is lower than 10,000$ ,im 21 years old student (independent).

I saw people who got in UC say the got the pell grant, some scholarship and dont have to pay for a cent.

I wanna go CSU, i just afraid i dont have enough money to pay tuition fee. do I qualify for any grants? I know i can get fafsa, how much i can get from other grants? thankyou
