Best International Schools/Studying in Israel?

Just wanted to get some feedback from people who had gone to international schools in israel.

Where did you go? (Tel Aviv, JerusalemU, UHaifa)
Can you give any comparisons between the quality of the immersion experiences based on school?
Safety?
Population?
What made it special/Why did you like it ? :)

Just some general input would be awesome if you've studied abroad in Israel at some point and also for people who are interested in doing so.

bump…

I am jewish, and know many people there, we need more information like what majors you are looking for, and what type of culture you are into. Tel Aviv is the gayville in Israel, and home of the best math universities, while Jerusalem will provide for more traditional experience.

okay well, i think im looking at majors in communication/marketing.

gayville? haha…
i’m looking for a place to experience the culture, not necessarily the religion. although a combo of the two is just as great.

I’m also looking to study abroad in Israel, only my school only offers it through UChaifa. You may want to confirm which your school offers (and that they offer study abroad in Israel at all, one of my schools did not because of safety).

I would look at the specific courses you plan on taking that year and see which school offers them and how good those programs are. Personally, for communications/marketing, I’d go Tel Aviv, especially because you said you wanted culture over religion, and although Yerushalaim has plenty of culture, it is a lot more religious based. That being said, I would still try to spend some time in Yerushalaim because religion is a huge part of Israeli culture and politics.

the problem with the international program in tel aviv is that most of the classes they offer in it are about religion, etc…not much variety.
