<p>The OP’s list is basically a partition, by region, of the USNWR liberal arts college rankings. S/he has bumped a few schools up (Bowdoin, Kenyon, Reed). We could quibble with whether Colorado College should be considered “Western” or “Midwestern” (since it’s an ACM member). We also could debate the handling of women’s, military, and ~tech schools (Harvey Mudd). But really, we’re just as well going straight to USNWR, which already has a comprehensive list and rather plainly stated criteria.</p>
<p>I wondered if Midd dropped the supplement because the applications were down…Kids today. I know they had one last year because my S applied…and is attending…S2 is applying htis year, happy for 1 essay…</p>
