Grapalenantox is pretty useful.

Arabic definitly. If you become fluent in Arabic you'll always have a job because the demand's so high right now for teachers, translators, etc., especially b/c of the importance of the Middle East. Being fluent in more than one language (no matter what it is) is always an asset, but the more difficult language that you master the better. Tons of people can learn and speak Spanish well because it's a very easy language, but waaaaaaay fewer people speak Arabic - it's a level 7 language, very difficult. Therefore, if you can speak it you've got a huuuuuge advantage.

Of course, a lot of the jobs involve going to the middle east, so be sure you are willing to do that

There is not "best" language to learn. I can make a case for many languages (in alphabetical order):

1) Arabic: 300,000,000 people speak it in an up and coming region. the Arab World is going to evolve a great deal over the next 50 years, so the oportunities will present themselves.

2) Chinese (Mandarin): The World's fastest growing economy and most populous country. 'nough said, non?

3) French: The World's cultural language and one of the EU's prominent members' national language. Very sexy language too!

4) German: The EU's economic and manufacturing powerhouse. Besides, understanding the words of the Ode of Joy never hurts.

5) Indian (Hindi): Same reasons as Chinese.

6) Japanese: The World's second largest Economy and a population of 120,000,000. That's cause enough. Besides, they have awesome movies!

7) Latin: The orgin of so many modern languages, the language of scholars through the dark and middle ages and still used in many professions, especially in Medicine and Law.

8) Portuguese: Brazil is an up and coming country that will dominate South America just as the US dominates North America. 200,000,000 people speak it.

9) Russian: When Russia awakes, people will take notice. As it is, over 200,000,000 million people speak the language in an area that covers 25% of the World's land area.

10) Spanish: Pablo Aldomovar alone makes it worthwhile, but even if he did not exist, I can think of 300,000,000 reasons why it is worth learning Spanish. Besides, I believe that people of latin and hispanic origin will make up the largest mianority group in the US by 2010.

i think the title shld be "what is the language you would MOST like to learn?"

portuguese cause its like russian

Japanese :)
I took a first-level course this year, and I LOVED it. I'm hoping to take another course in it this year.

ooops. i made my first post in regards to just the tread title. i thought the question was originally which language is the best to learn in terms of usefulness.

in that case, since i already speak spanish, i'd def have to say i want to speak italian and french. but more italian. it just sounds so incredibly sexy and sophisticated. french sounds very arrogant and angry (in a ticked off, snotty type way), but i like that.

The Arab world is going to evolve? I really think quite the opposite...it's self-destructing.

Spanish is becoming more common in the US. I think it's probably the most useful. French only sounds snooty when spoken by men. I think it's one of the most beautiful languages to listen to when spoken by women (the soft-spoken ones).

Aim, the whole world is evolving, some areas quicker than others. Once a region starts developing, the development picks up steam. The Middle East has just recently (the last 15-20 years) started to develop. It will take time, but we'll get there.

As for French, it only sounds snooty if spoken by a snooty person. Most French people I have dealt with were pleasant and French sounds great when they speak.

If talking about international usefulness, I wouldn't recommend Italian or Japanese (though I love both).

Japanese b/c most japanese will speak better english than you will ever speak japanese.

Italian b/c it is only spoken in one country, where virtually everyone, also speaks english.

My two cents: Chinese, German, Russian or French.

Alexandre, how exciting for you to live in the UAE! I've heard it's pretty open minded, that the leader is very progressive. He's certainly got a wealth of ideas.

I would love to learn Arabic one day, but first, I want to learn German. French might be cool, too.

I grew up in the UAE. I lived in the UAE from 1978-1987, 1989-1992 and now from 2004 until present. I have grown with the country (which was founded in 1972).

I also lived in France and in Germany...loved both of those countries. Paris and Berlin are amazing.

oh i know french sounds beautiful if spoken in a calm manner. it's just that when i hear french people get mad, it sounds extra snooty and malicious...in the coolest way possible. but i agree it is a beautiful language, as are all the romance languages, and many more.

I would like to learn French because it's one of the easier languages to learn, and it opens up a lot of new tourist doors (Quebec, France, Switzerland). Plus, by learning French, Spanish will probably come almost naturally since they're so related.

I just need a way to learn it, since I stopped taking those awful French classes in schools, and learning from books does not cut it. Any suggestions?

I already speak spanish, english, & french so the next language I want to learn is either portuguese, german, or mandarin.

Alexandre: This may be a silly question since you've lived in the UAE most of your life, but of the cities you've lived in, which do you like the best? I've heard Dubai is simply gorgeous. And, out of curiosity, of the languages you listed, which ones do you know?

I have lived in:
Beirut, Lebanon: Birth-1975 (I return there on an annual basis)
Manama, Bahrain: 1975-1978
Abu Dhabi, UAE: 1978-1987
DC, USA: 1987-1988
Eton/Windsor, UK: 1988-1989
Abu Dhabi, UAE: 1989-1992
Ann Arbor, Michigan: 1992-1996
London, Paris and Berlin: 1996-1999
Ithaca, New York: 1999-2001
Ann Arbor, Michigan: 2001-2002
Kalamazoo, Michigan: 2002-2004
Dubai, UAE: 2004-Present

Yeah, I moved around a lot! LOL

My favorite city by a wide margin is Paris. To me, nothing comes close to the French capital. But Berlin, London, Chicago and Ann Arbor are all great too.

Dubai is an interesting city, but I would not describe it as "gorgeous". It is a nice place to vacation, but I would not necessarily recommend living here.

I am fluent in Arabic, English and French and I have a decent command over the German and Spanish languages.

Alexandre, is there any reason in particular you moved around so much?

KEALEY SEMINARS ~ LEARN TO SPEAK GRENDEL

BUSH 2 KERRY (BTK) SKULL and BONES (BAS)
Weeklong SEMINAR~WORKSHOP with Glen Kealey

CIPI Fall Session : SPEAKING GRENDEL

The first bookings for the farm's fall season begin on August 26, 2005.

It's still on a First Come ~ First Served basis.

We are still renovating the farm house. There is nothing 'fancy' here, nor is it
'ancient'. The farm house was built in the 70's.

Most visitors arrive in some kind of recreation vehicle (RV) and just plug in.
They then use the facilities in the farm house. Motels are also available in the
area.

A reservation for a weeklong seminar and workshop requires that a $2000 US
donation be sent payable to CIPI, the Canadian Institute for Political
Integrity, and be received by CIPI at least 30 days in advance of the seminar.
This level of donation allows from 1 to 6 persons in your group to attend the
seminar.

Due to the subject matter -- Speaking GRENDEL; The BUSH/KERRY (red and blue)
Skull and Bones Society; Grand Orient Freemasonry's Desdemona pictograph coding;
Persian Mis Pi Rituals (sesame seesaw); European 'Frankish' VI~GOF Quincunx; and
Ecclesiastic Co/Ko Freemasonry; 'Cult of the Brahmin/Buddhist Turkey Vulture';
etc.; -- seminars are usually private to your group and the number of people in
attendance is totally up to you (maximum six).

Meals are extra (farm house food). Restaurants and motels are within a 20 minute
drive from the farm. Ottawa is 45 minutes to an hour away.

MILLIONS PAY UNIVERSITIES TENS OF THOUSANDS TO TRAIN AND BEE ON TRACK

Parents say they want to do what is best for their children, yet they send them
off to college to limit their peripheral vision about life. They pay upwards of
$40,000 a year for their kids (southern/eastern scapegoats) to attend Ivy League
colleges where they are taught to understand science and the arts, and nothing
about real life. In other words, they learn how to be busy BEES; to slave away
for the tax drones (INTERNATIONAL TOLLGATER MONKS) who hide behind the symbol of
the genetically engineered Quean BEE (Martha's Ave Maria) and live the 'Good
Life' at our expense.

Yet, to survive and grow in life one must learn to overstand the true role of
Cro Magnon "Roma Redmen", and not simply understand "the Brits",
natives/aboriginals and the Vatican veil. To overstand their secret language,
GRENDEL one first needs to UNBEE (to negate the effects of the brainwashing we
all are subjected to from birth). This new overstanding will then allow persons
to fully comprehend all of the options they have in life, before they willingly
agree to further undergo the PERSIAN/BUDDHIST monks final frontal lobotomy.

Organized religion and the National Media working together are a faith-based
team of Trojan Horses who support the Persian Tollgating Tax System imposed on
the West, by promoting higher rather than "OWL" education for the masses. Their
news "shows" and false hi.story help keep you on track. Once "trained" the only
option left to the pupil is to follow the track set out by NATSI Persian
"WATCHER" monks long ago and passed on to the West after the Jerusalem crusades
by means of the returning Knights, Marco Polo, Lorenzo Medici and the
Illuminatsi Holy Roman Empire and their so-called European protest-ants
(Illuminati~Episcop.alians).

Today, with all of the legal statutes and court precedents written in files
everywhere, college graduates, in whatever task they choose to undertake as
careers, end up being nothing but noble (good), glorified rubber stamps who
honour.Able (The BAS) and the bisexual monks who first laid down the current
rules of life long ago.

Yet, there still is one real choice left to you in your life and it requires
that you invest $2000 US and attend a private seminar and workshop designed to
teach you how to learn GRENDEL, the controllers secret coded language. It will
help you to UNBEE. It's never too late to overstand, rather than simply
understand, the meaning of FREEDOM.

You will therefore overstand CIPI's "CO" Conspiracy Theorem (that the whole
world's a stage ruled secretly by Brahmin and Buddhist Monks) who want to turn
you into a human BEE, ANT, or SCARAB to slave on their behalf.

At a minimum this new found wisdom will be inexpensive insurance policy for
those who care to know about the reality behind the origin of Persian Monks,
their 'War on Women and Original peoples' and why the Persians believe that the
United States of America and Western Europe must be destroyed in this century.

COME to THE FERME and let the people of CIPI help you comprehend ultimate
reality right now, rather than waiting until you are 81 years of age and figure
it out on your own only when you can no longer do anything about IT.

Don't wait, reserve your private week with Glen Kealey today. After all, time is
all you have left to call your own. Make the best of the time you still have
ahead of you.

Contact Glen Kealey today, before you miss out on life altogether.
