<p>Out of those 3, I'd take the second one. It's got better CPU than the first... and the third seems ok, but its price seems out of line with the others for having a 4200 RPM hard drive.</p>
<p>Dare I suggest a MacBook...but you probably want to stay Windows, so. </p>
<p>You should buy your laptop when you go to college. My college has purchasing plans that allow me to get a student discount on Dell and Apple Machines (Dell University Program and this Apple student program....$2000 MacBook Pro has become a $1800 MacBook Pro with a free nano) and also on Microsoft software...for example, MS Office Student Edition goes from $145 to $87.</p>

<p>i love it. i had planned on getting something along the lines of a lenovo, but this was ~1/3 the price. the way i looked at it was the thinkpad would, at best, last me through 4 years of college. i can get a new hp every year and come out about even...</p>
