Best Law Schools for Property Law (Trusts/Estates)

Hello!

I've been researching law as a serious career path for myself, and the field of law concerning wills, trusts, estates, and inheritance seems the most interesting to me. I think that this falls under the more general category of Property Law.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what some of the best law schools for property law are? I've tried looking in USNEWS but they don't seem to have that category. Or, if you are in a legal profession, do you know of any schools that are reputed to be good for this type of law?

Thank you for your help! Any and all information is much appreciated. ;)

I can't think of a law school that doesn't teach these courses. However, like most other areas of law, you will learn the most about your area of interest by practicing and learning from others with more experience than you after you graduate, rather than in school.

Just to note -- the areas of wills, trusts and estates are much more about expertise in taxation than they are about property law.

Thank you, Sally!

Bump... :)

The University of Miami is very big in this area, but I would not choose a law school on this basis. They all have solid courses in this area. The lower tier schools may be weak in advanced T&E courses and may have adjunct prof.s teaching them (some of whom may be very good). You just want to make sure that there is something beyond the basic wills and trusts course that is taught in every law school.
