I think the adventure she's talking about is more like flirting, etc.

Many girls would have probably picked an in-betweener, but that wasn't an option. -__-

IMO, an extreme player and an extreme nerd won't be decent dating partners either way. One will leave you for another woman (cringes) and the other will leave you for the enhancement of his knowledge (a.k.a he'll ignore you).

Because I defined this situation as: There are no other guys around. It's just you, a player, and a nerd which one would you choose? I chose a player. Why? Because under other circumstances, I wouldn't have dated one at all.

neverborn: It is a hypothetical situation. Just because we chose players doesn't demean us in any way. (-_-) However, as bobbobbob said, there are many in-betweeners out there. We just have to look and, hopefully, find one that's right for us.

bookfreak: I completely disagree. People who would choose a piece of **** over an awkward/antisocial/inept/whatever guy don't impress me. I guess some stereotypes are right, huh...

No, they are not.

No one is trying to impress you, but rather, ATTEMPTING to make you understand their rationale.

Oh well, you can't please them all.

Stereotypes say that a lot of girls choose *******s over nice guys. Your "rationale" aside, you are an example of the stereotype. /shrug

Some nerds are definitly hott but we are going for the stereotypes ones now. I would rather choose a player because I dont want to be with someone who is socially awkward, uncomfortable, or whatever. I rather have someone who is a bit socially inclined. I still want to have fun when we hangout and in conversations. For some reason I think a playa would be able to make me laugh more. And i just dont want to waste my time making a nerd comfortable or more socially comfortable. And if the playa wants to mess with me I will mess with him back. I can play mind games too.

neverborn: No, I'm not. Just because you refuse to understand my rationale, doesn't categorize me as a stereotype. Besides, not all nerds are nice people as you define them.

neverborn, i am going to take a wild guess and say that you are a nerd to the highest degree.

Nah. I'm in between. I am more nerd than player, but not completely socially inept. I have a girlfriend and go to parties, but don't have sex with random sluts who get picked up by players at nightclubs.

hmm well that wasn't an option.
and does that mean that people who prefer players are sluts?

I'd generalize that given the inherent definition of a player.

Wow, so I guess someone who doesnt want to be serious and experiment is officially a slut. Great.

/shrug. Have your lifestyle. I happen to think it's ****ing disgusting.

You must think you are something to pass judgement so fast.

Someone with morals. Yes, I do.

Well you may say that you aren't a nerd, but so far, you have only exhibited socially retarded behavior.

But to each his own. I guess I am a slut.

There's a difference between being socially inept and despising the fact that modern society encourages both guys and girls to be sluts. I wonder why AIDS is a global pandemic. I honestly have no idea. I guess wanting to stay away from those with loose morals who may carry diseases is pretty retarded.

So your morals must be the end-all be-all.

Lol. So just because someone likes to have sex they are a horrible human being who is encouraging AIDs? The logic in this case is fantastic.
