I'm looking to get into Kelley's school of business, and I was wondering who the best (as in who teaches better) professor was for Math M 118. I've looked at the past grades and they were not great and there is a ridiculous number of F's and Ws.

Take it with McKinley. He is commonly as accepted as one of the best professors who breaks the weird math down in a way so that it’s easier to understand and do well. I know his class gets really popular though so it may be full already. I’m sure other people on this board will have recommendations of who to take it with or who to stay away from.

Well McKinley would be my pick, he is also the one who hosts the ever so popular Finite Show.

Mckinley was very popular, though his grade distribution wasn’t the highest among 118 professors. I had Marks (Marx?), he was really nice and was really useful in office hours.

Not that he needs more support here, but I’d go with McKinley as well. I ended up with an A in the class with McKinley. While math has usually been one of my better areas, I’d say it was a ton easier to get an A in finite than it was for me to get an A- in calculus (barely, with a 8-10% curve on the final)
