I can't think of what to major on

I got into Biology major for freshman year

I like Biology and im okay with calculus
but I hate chemistry and physics

it seems like anything biology related requires chemistry/organic chemistry

can anyone provide any suggestions?

What are your career plans?

Bio does not require that much chemistry… Just general chemistry and organic chemistry. That is not even that really complex. The only time you will actually use some of your g-chem and o-chem will be in your biochemistry class. Otherwise, once you are through with it you can forget most of it.

Yeah, stuff like O-Chem’s one of those things you just gotta get through once in college, but yeah, in terms of careers plans, if you’re going for MD or something, you do know that the MCAT does have a large portion of chemistry and physics and all that fun stuff. So yeah, going along with iTransfer, career plans?

uhhh…well I’m not going for anything big like surgeon

i’m thinking of either being an optometrist or a physicians assistant

do i need the MCAT for either of those?
