BEST major for pre-med

is it tough to pull off a 3.7 in bme while having to study for mcats? basically, what i am trying to get at is - does it take A LOT of your time that you cannot spend too much time on mcats?

Obviously this depends on your talent, your school, your time management, etc. Plenty of kids manage. Plenty of kids fail.

Can anyone give a idea of how challenging it is to major in something unrelated to science, say psychology or international relationship and prepare for med school at the same time. If you are aiming for selective/competitive med schools would majoring in a relative field gives a advantage??
