The title says it all... I'm writing the test in January and am going to place a big order on amazon.com tonight. I have some PR books, College Boards BB for practice tests, but for reviewing each subject and the material tested which are the best books. I've heard grubers math book is good but yea...

Math- Gruber's
Writing- Rocket Review
CR- Grammatix/ Mysterytutor
Overall- Maximum SAT

Stay away from- Kaplan, PR, and Barron's

Where can you buy Grammatix? Who makes Maximum SAT?

yea i cant find grammatix and maximum sat is on delayed shipping but im going to get grubers rocket review and such

nm i found it:
The Complete SAT and PSAT Strategy Guide--Order Form

grammatix is more of a reference book-- don't expect mind-numbing tips that'll change your whole perspective on CR. I found it helpful, but you can get the same information pretty much from Mysterytutor. I really advise you to check that out before buying this one.

Is Grammatix even a secured site? lol

idk... some people had been having trouble with the site, what with the owner of the site disappearing for a month or two or something to that effect. I personally had no trouble getting my goods, and I found the book to be very helpful.

Is the Gruber's book just for math? Are there any other books that help with the math?

Rocketreview anyone?

Gruber's is good for math. But many people say it's terrible for CR & Writing.

Do you think Gruber's is overall too comprehensive?

Which one is good for overall, and also good about the Writing and CR ??

Is grammatix good for essay writing?
