Hey, everybody! I really want to learn how to make films in college, but I know that the film industry is really hard to get into. So I want to have a solid backup, like finance or business admin or something.

I'm looking for a college with a great film program (good equipment, good teachers, good classes, access to industry connections and film festivals, etc.) but also one that is really academically prestigious. One that would also be good for a business degree or something in the humanities.

The colleges I'm considering so far in general are: USC, UChicago, NYU, Columbia, MIT, Harvard, and Princeton. Out of those, which ones would you suggest for the criteria I've given? I know UCLA probably has the best film program, but it looks like it'd be too expensive for an out-of-stater like me, and I don't want a school that's packed with loads of people. Are there any other schools you suggest I look at?

Thanks for your help!
