Best preparation for GRE

Which book would be the best to prepare for GRE? I have heard that Barrons is the best. What do you guys think?

If you can, get the GRE prep CD by Kaplan. It has in my opinion the closest thing to the real test as you can get. Also, their test prep books are pretty top-notch too. I think Barrons tends to be on the easy side in terms of practice tests, which is what you're looking for when preparing.

wait, you think Barron's is easy? I thought it was the other way around.

Barron's is known for being harder than the test itself in a lot of cases. I'm surprised to hear someone say otherwise. I have no personal experience as of yet.

I always do refer to the ETS official guides as a great place to start. I've heard from many people that their CAT sample exam (the one you get from the CD/download they let you have when you register for the test) is a very close predictor for your final score.

I found that princeton review and the other study guides had the best study techinques. However, Barrons by far had the best practice questions. Thus, Barrons is the best. Simply by doing questions over and over and taking practice tests, I significantly raised my GRE score
