Best Prof for Bio Intro classes

I've already looked on ratemyprofessor.com but, I just got overwhemled with so many comments that were very vague. I want to know if any current freshmen (or upperclassmen) had a really good experience with a teacher or a really bad one for BIOSC 150. Tell me which proffessor you would reccommend for a person who hasn't take any AP science classes (I have taken other AP's so I know what it is like to have a heavy workload).

Also, is Golde (a chem proffessor) a good prof? I've saw a lot of good things about him on ratemyprof. Is he a fair grader and does he like to help students who are confused about the material?

Easiest professor for Biology I- Ghosh
Hardest & most ridiculous professor for Biology I- Newman
Best professor for Biology I- Roberts

I didn’t have AP Biology like any of the other students in the class, so I had to work even harder to get through Biology while taking Chemistry at the same time. I would take Ghosh if you want to get an easy grade because she’s the easiest, but I would take Roberts if you want to learn and succeed in Biology 2. I would however not recommend Roberts for Biology 2 because she gets insane and if the class average is in the C range, she will make the tests ridiculously hard. Avoid NEWMAN at all costs, she will make your life a living hell.

Are you saying that Ghosh is so easy that I won’t be able to really learn anything? Did you have her or Roberts for Bio 1? Who did you have for Bio 2? I’m just afraid that I won’t be able to get that A because I haven’t take AP Bio yet. I was planning to take Ghosh for first semester to easy into the college setting and then take Roberts or Daniels for Bio 2. Do you think that is a good plan? What did you do?
