I'm an entering freshman and going on the pre-med path. I would really appreciate your advice on which profs here are the best (more specifically for science/math and Chinese courses). Thanks!</p>
<p>Chinese courses: Prof He Tianshu, Prof Dan Wang, especially Prof He <– she is super nice and she’s like the auntie you may or may not have had (if you are Asian, you probably know what I’m talking about)</p>
<p>Science: Prof Dong for microbio. Prof Roy for orgo (if he’s teaching it). Prof Tornow for physics (he’s kinda like that really nice grandpa that’s really helpful). </p>
<p>Sociology: Prof David Brady, fair, knowledgeable, and his social research class is pretty interesting. </p>
<p>EOS: Emily klein for EOS 11 (ie rocks for jocks), really nice lady, class is literally exactly the same as a geology class I took freshmen year in HS except 3x easier.</p>
<p>Take Biology 102L (Genetics and Evolution) with Professor Mohamed Noor. He’s my favorite professor of all time, and I spent time at another top university before coming to Duke.</p>
