I have to decide what residence hall to go to by tommorrow. I know - procrastination :P

So what is the best place to live as an incoming freshman. I want someplace social, probably dorm style (I don't want apparment or suite style), coed, and comfortable. I'm guessing that I can't get all of these things in 1 package, but is there a dorm out there with some of these qualities??

You are probably better off (based on your preferences) to sign up for Broward, Matherly, or Jennings. They are usually the more social dorms around. I don’t think they are “comfortable”, at least not by my definition but it’s not that bad.

what do you mean by uncomfortable? Is the air conditioning not very strong (I NEED good A/C). Are the beds bad, the rooms small,… is it cuz of the shared bathrooms?

lol yeah by more social he means everyone goes to the bathroom together xD

I haven’t heard much about Fletcher, Sledd, or Murphee. Are they nice dorms for freshman? They are the ones I requested because they are the only ones offered that I liked for the Summer term and I don’t want to move again for the Fall.

I would also suggest Broward or Jennings if the social atmosphere is what you’re looking for. Definitely not Lakeside, it’s extremely secluded. Why do you have to choose by tomorrow? Can’t you change your preference if you end up changing your mind after you do more research?
