Which prep books contain the most realistic SAT II tests? I am currently taking both AP Chemistry and AP US History, so I don't care much about the quality of the review.

For Chem, I'd say Princeton Review. I thought it was a lot like the actual thing.

The Barron's SAT II Chemistry covers stuff that won't be on the test, so if you don't want overpreparation, you can stick to PR.

I took both classes junior year and there respective SAT II's, and got a 750 on Chem and a 760 on U.S. I used princeton review to study AP Chem and then used barrons for the SAT II to cover the topics not in AP Chem, and to try a few practice tests. I highly recommend the barrons for chem. You will score lower on the practice tests then on the real thing, but you will feel so confident when you actually take the test. The test format and types of questions are also very accurate. One question was the same as the one in the review book!

I also got the barrons for the Sat II U.S. History. Big mistake! Their practice tests are nothing like the real thing! I still did well because you may have realized that the SAT II May date is the day after the AP U.S. History test. I studied for both and found them to be extremely easy after using the princeton review AP book. I strongly recommend using the May date because you can take it while its fresh on your mind from the AP test. I would recommend only taking one SAT II that day or else your going to be brain fried from the combination of multiple SAT II and AP's in the same week. I took my Chem SAT II after the class on the June date by just using the barrons. Good Luck! :)
