I haven't taken any AP classes (just basic courses) so I'm depending on this book to learn alot of the material.

Is Kaplan or SAT II: US History for Dummies better for US History? or another book

Is Princeton Review or Kaplan better for Chemistry?or another book

Princeton Review is better for Chemistry (according to numerous CC'ers)

barrons is good for chem. i'd say if u know everything in that book, you'll get at least 750

Barrons overprepares you. I felt it was near the level of my AP Chem class. However, if overpreparing is what you want, then get Barrons.

Kaplan for Chem. I'm using that right now & I have used it for all other SAT IIs; it hasn't failed me. Princeton Review teaches you the basics. It might be okay for the SAT Bio and such, but not for the Chem.
