What are the best study guides for World History and Literature SAT Subject tests?
Anybody?
Nobody has taken either of these tests, lol?
College Board has study guides available for purchase on its website and you can also pick these up on Amazon.
World History might be combined with US History.
Good luck!
Last year I took the US History SAT II and did well. But I took it the same year that I took the AP for US History, which definitely helped a lot. The study book I used for the AP is called AMSCO and I generally used the same one for the SAT. Not sure that they make a World History book though.
Literature I took twice, and the second time did better, with a 710. Again, I took it the same year as my AP English Lit test, which helped. The tests do cover different information, though, so I got a Princeton Review for the SAT II. It was pretty good.
My best advice, though, would be to take out a copy of the College Board official study guide for Subject Tests from your local library, do the tests you’re taking, and see how well you did. Don’t buy it unless you’re planning on taking many tests, because it has all of them in there. But the CB prep book is the most accurate. If you need more prep (which I did), get a study book from a different company as well.
Hi guys, I just bought the PR book for the literature subject test. I am hoping to get a 800 and was wondering whether the PR book is good enough to prepare me for such a score. I have read a lot of stuff on the internet about the PR book with some negative reviews also. My main question is, if I work diligently, is the PR book a good enough resource to help me attain a 800?
