Best SAT Vocab List?

What's the best SAT vocab list out there?

It's probably very difficult to compare them, as there are so many words, and so many of them would be the same, but what I mean to ask is, what vocab list did you use that helped you a lot when you took the exam? Did many of the words that you memorized turn up?

I've found many lists, but I don't know which one to use! Also, some of them are in alphabetical order, others are grouped by themes etc...

I'm looking for a list of about 1000 words (more than that would be a little bit overwhelming!!).

Also, money is not an issue. I can buy a vocab list if I need to.

Gosh, I've memorized so many lists I don't even recall.
Anyway, imho, the very best vocab list (for me, at least) was the one I made myself after taking every practice test.

Trust me, within a few weeks I had over 1000 words.
When you finish taking a practice test, go back through the whole test and highlight/underline unknown words. Then, look them up and marry them!

I know this takes up quite some time, but it's totally worth it.
Besides, this method actually gives you the comfort that whatever you are memorizing can really be used on the SAT.
Otherwise many of those words on all those mambo jambo vocab lists out there don't even come up on the SAT.

Princeton review vocab is good

Feed, that's quite a good idea. It was something I was planning on doing, but I wasn't thinking of a proper list. I always find that I memorize a word better when I stumble upon it rather than reading it off a list for the "first time".
