Hi, I was wondering what the best possible (ideally full-ride) scholarship would be considering this academic record:

SAT: 2400 (taken twice, first time 2320)
GPA: 4.0 UW (9 AP's)
Pretty good teacher recommendations (I'm hoping!)
Varsity soccer all four years of high school
Some pretty cool summer internships and volunteer work
Various clubs
(Not the best extracurriculars, I know...)

If anyone has some pretty decent scholarships (which don't have to be full-ride, even though full-ride would be awesome) in mind, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

Also, if anyone has some good colleges in mind that I might be interested in, I'd greatly appreciate that information. I've got my eye on a few colleges right now that are good but not, like, great... (because honestly I can't really afford to go to, say, Johns Hopkins or Georgetown).

My school literally JUST phased out the full-ride for perfect scores on ACT/SAT. This year’s freshman are the last to get the chance to get a full-ride, because 1) ~10 perfect scores in one year, each receiving a full-ride, and 2) trying to be more competitive among national universities by increasing freshman retention rate, which means that they are giving out more scholarships to more people, but less $$$ per scholarship than it used to be.

USC offers over 150 full tuition scholarships to top students each year. Make SURE you complete your application before the DEC 1 deadline AND go to the Discover USC interview[ full tuition scholarships are not awarded without the dept interview] And if you are a NMF ,you will receive an automatic 1/2 Tuition scholarship if accepted. But you can only receive 1 big scholarship]

When you say that it doesn’t have to be a full-ride, does that mean that your family will provides some annual funds? If so, how much?

mom2collegekids, I mean there isn’t really a set number on how much they’ll provide, but I’m definitely trying to save my “money for college” to use to pay for either medical, business, or law school.
